Inc. has earned a reputation for exceptional service, finding the
special and hard to find items for our customers, allowing them the

We have added a mechanical division to our sales efforts, Unistrut metal
framing systems.
At CSI we have the capability to supply, kit, fabricate, cut and finish
any job that requires a metal framing system. With this addition we can
offer our customers even more of what they are accustomed to with
Component Specialties as their partner.
Company History
40 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION AND BEYOND
Component Specialties, Inc. was founded in 1971 by Clay Meeks as an
independent electrical wholesale distributor. Originally located at 3178
Nome St. in a modest 2400sq ft building in Aurora, CO, Component
Specialties, Inc. quickly grew. More space was added but, CSI
eventually outgrew the facility.
In 1984 we moved into a larger building just north of this location at
3202 Nome St. The facility has 15000sq ft. of usable space, and it
continues to be our home today.
In 1991, Gary Meeks purchased the shares of stock from his father and
became president and CEO, positions which he holds today. The company
has been family owned since its inception back in 1971.
